La Via Silente
By bike
Cilento and Vallo di Diano
A cycling loop route across coastlines, hill areas, and mountain regions.
The itinerary crosses numerous municipalities within the Parco Nazionale del Cilento, Vallo di Diano e Alburni, allowing riders to experience highly diverse landscapes from natural, cultural, and scenic perspectives.
The route takes its name from the ancient “Terra Silente”, an expression used to describe Cilento as a land characterized by slow rhythms, harmony between humans and nature, and a strong territorial identity. It represents a model of experiential tourism based on sustainability, slow travel, and the discovery of inland areas.
